Martta-Kaisa Virta, or MaKa, is an illustrator from Finland. She studied both in Aalto Academy in Helsinki, and in Universität der Künste, under prof. Henning Wagenbreth. MaKa has makes images in many styles, but is most home drawing with a pen on paper. She utilizes hand drawn and digital methods to build intriguing worlds and characters.
Her illustration customers include for example : Mondo Magazine, Kirkko & Kaupunki magazine, Journalisti Magazine and National Audiovisual Institute of Finland
